LET’S EAT

From the foundations of passion and love for family, comes a fusion of Malay street food, and dining with loved ones.

In 1944, Mr Liang Ya homed in on his cooking skills and passion for food, leveraging this to create the first restaurant in Malaysia featuring “Hakka cuisine.” Since then, several branching restaurants have launched across Malaysia.

Malay street food comes from the depths of mining villages, where miners soaked in comradery over the flavours of snack food. Liang Ya was fiercely independent, but his influence reached his children and younger generations, who have gained momentum in their own business by channelling his beliefs and words. His children have built different sub-brands based on the blueprint restaurant in Malaysia.

Knowing their responsibility to their ancestors, the food is prepared with traditional, authentic Malay flavour. They consistently speak to the value of hard work, their family motto, and their roots.

Today, we welcome you to Penang Street Food restaurant, where we blend the blessing and spirit of our ancestors with genuine Malay dishes and flavours. Take your senses to the streets of our home, while you relax, ease your stresses, and soak up time with your family and friends.

May I never give up on my soft heart and spirit. Live a warm and pure life.

The world is a wild, hectic place. Our lives are busier than ever, and it's hard to pause. Take a moment to pause at Penang Street Food (PSF). Loosen your muscles, laugh with friends over a drink, with a fusion of traditional Malay cuisine and modern dining. Play hard, and live harder.

Life is laced with trepidation and hardships. So, hope you get rich. Gather your friends, share a drink and a joke, and let’s eat.

PSF, peace out.
